How Payment Services Work

  • Payments are processed securely through PSD2-compliant APIs
  • You maintain full control and can revoke access at any time
  • All transactions are encrypted and protected by bank-grade security

Security Best Practices

  • Never share your banking credentials or passwords with anyone
  • Always verify you're on the official Opendeck website before connecting accounts
  • Review your transaction history regularly and report any suspicious activity
  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available

Your Rights & Protections

  • You have the right to cancel any payment authorization at any time
  • Unauthorized transactions are protected under PSD2 regulations
  • You can dispute transactions and request refunds for unauthorized payments
  • Your personal data is protected under GDPR and UK data protection laws

Fees & Charges

All fees and charges are clearly disclosed before you authorize any payment. We are transparent about:

  • Transaction fees (if applicable)

If Something Goes Wrong

If you notice an unauthorized transaction or have concerns about your account:

  2. Contact your bank to report the unauthorized transaction
  3. Review your transaction history to identify all affected transactions
  4. Change your passwords and revoke any suspicious account connections

Important: Under PSD2, you must report unauthorized transactions within 13 months to be eligible for a refund.
